ܡܣܗܕ ܐܢܐ ܠܟ ܩܕܡ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܡܪܢ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܗܘ ܕܥܬܝܕ ܠܡܕܢ ܚܝܐ ܘܡܝܬܐ ܒܓܠܝܢܐ ܕܡܠܟܘܬܗ
dmlkwthh bglyn' wmyth' khy' lmdn dethyd hw mshykh' yshwe wmrn 'lh' qdm lk 'n' mshd
I command you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his Kingdom:

ܐܟܪܙ ܡܠܬܐ ܘܩܘܡ ܒܚܦܝܛܘܬܐ ܒܙܒܢܐ ܘܕܠܐ ܙܒܢܐ ܐܟܣ ܘܟܘܢ ܒܟܠܗ ܡܓܪܬ ܪܘܚܐ ܘܝܘܠܦܢܐ
wywlpn' rwkh' mgrth bklh wkwn 'ks zbn' wdl' bzbn' bkhpyTwth' wqwm mlth' 'krz
preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching.

ܢܗܘܐ ܓܝܪ ܙܒܢܐ ܕܠܝܘܠܦܢܐ ܚܠܝܡܐ ܠܐ ܢܫܬܡܥܘܢ ܐܠܐ ܐܝܟ ܪܓܝܓܬܗܘܢ ܢܣܓܘܢ ܠܢܦܫܗܘܢ ܡܠܦܢܐ ܒܚܘܬܚܬܐ ܕܡܫܡܥܬܗܘܢ
dmshmethhwn bkhwthkhth' mlpn' lnpshhwn nsgwn rgygthhwn 'yk 'l' nshthmewn l' khlym' dlywlpn' zbn' gyr nhw'
For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts;

ܘܡܢ ܫܪܪܐ ܢܗܦܟܘܢ ܐܕܢܗܘܢ ܠܫܘܥܝܬܐ ܕܝܢ ܢܣܛܘܢ
nsTwn dyn lshweyth' 'dnhwn nhpkwn shrr' wmn
and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn away to fables.

ܐܢܬ ܕܝܢ ܗܘܝܬ ܥܝܪ ܒܟܠܡܕܡ ܘܣܝܒܪ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܘܥܒܕܐ ܥܒܕ ܕܡܣܒܪܢܐ ܘܬܫܡܫܬܟ ܫܠܡ
shlm wthshmshthk dmsbrn' ebd webd' byshth' wsybr bklmdm eyr hwyth dyn 'nth
But you be sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and fulfill your ministry.

ܐܢܐ ܓܝܪ ܡܟܝܠ ܡܬܢܩܐ ܐܢܐ ܘܙܒܢܐ ܕܐܫܬܪܐ ܡܛܐ
mT' d'shthr' wzbn' 'n' mthnq' mkyl gyr 'n'
For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure has come.

ܐܓܘܢܐ ܫܦܝܪܐ ܐܬܟܬܫܬ ܘܪܗܛܝ ܫܠܡܬ ܘܗܝܡܢܘܬܝ ܢܛܪܬ
nTrth whymnwthy shlmth wrhTy 'thkthshth shpyr' 'gwn'
I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith.

ܘܡܢ ܗܫܐ ܢܛܝܪ ܠܝ ܟܠܝܠܐ ܕܟܐܢܘܬܐ ܕܢܦܪܥܝܘܗܝ ܠܝ ܡܪܝ ܒܝܘܡܐ ܗܘ ܕܗܘܝܘ ܕܝܢܐ ܟܐܢܐ ܠܐ ܕܝܢ ܒܠܚܘܕ ܠܝ ܐܠܐ ܐܦ ܠܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܐܚܒܘ ܠܓܠܝܢܗ
lglynh d'khbw l'ylyn 'p 'l' ly blkhwd dyn l' k'n' dyn' dhwyw hw bywm' mry ly dnpreywhy dk'nwth' klyl' ly nTyr hsh' wmn
From now on, there is stored up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.

ܕܡܐ ܓܝܪ ܫܒܩܢܝ ܘܐܚܒ ܥܠܡܐ ܗܢܐ ܘܐܙܠ ܠܗ ܠܬܣܠܘܢܝܩܐ ܩܪܣܩܘܣ ܠܓܠܛܝܐ ܛܛܘܣ ܠܕܠܡܛܝܐ

for Demas left me, having loved this present world, and went to Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia.

ܠܘܩܐ ܗܘ ܒܠܚܘܕܘܗܝ ܥܡܝ ܠܡܪܩܘܣ ܕܒܪ ܘܐܝܬܝܗܝ ܥܡܟ ܥܗܢ ܠܝ ܓܝܪ ܠܬܫܡܫܬܐ
lthshmshth' gyr ly ehn emk w'ythyhy dbr lmrqws emy blkhwdwhy hw lwq'
Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for service.

ܒܝܬ ܟܬܒܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܫܒܩܬ ܒܛܪܘܐܘܣ ܠܘܬ ܩܪܦܘܣ ܡܐ ܕܐܬܐ ܐܢܬ ܐܝܬܝܗܝ ܘܟܬܒܐ ܝܬܝܪܐܝܬ ܟܪܟܐ ܕܡܓܠܐ

Bring the cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus when you come, and the books, especially the parchments.

ܐܠܟܣܢܕܪܣ ܩܝܢܝܐ ܒܝܫܬܐ ܣܓܝܐܬܐ ܚܘܝܢܝ ܦܪܥ ܠܗ ܡܪܢ ܐܝܟ ܥܒܕܘܗܝ
ebdwhy 'yk mrn lh pre khwyny sgy'th' byshth' qyny' 'lksndrs
Alexander, the coppersmith, did much evil to me. The Lord will repay him according to his deeds,

ܐܦ ܐܢܬ ܕܝܢ ܐܙܕܗܪ ܡܢܗ ܛܒ ܓܝܪ ܙܩܝܦ ܠܘܩܒܠ ܡܠܝܢ

of whom you also must beware; for he greatly opposed our words.

ܒܡܦܩ ܒܪܘܚܝ ܩܕܡܝܐ ܠܐ ܐܢܫ ܗܘܐ ܥܡܝ ܐܠܐ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܫܒܩܘܢܝ ܠܐ ܬܬܚܫܒ ܠܗܘܢ ܗܕܐ
hd' lhwn ththkhshb l' shbqwny klhwn 'l' emy hw' 'nsh l' qdmy' brwkhy bmpq
At my first defense, no one came to help me, but all left me. May it not be held against them.

ܡܪܝ ܕܝܢ ܩܡ ܠܝ ܘܚܝܠܢܝ ܕܒܝ ܟܪܘܙܘܬܐ ܬܫܬܠܡ ܘܢܫܡܥܘܢ ܥܡܡܐ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܕܐܬܦܨܝܬ ܡܢ ܦܘܡܐ ܕܐܪܝܐ

But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me, that through me the message might be fully proclaimed, and that all the Gentiles might hear; and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

ܘܢܦܨܝܢܝ ܡܪܝ ܡܢ ܟܠ ܥܒܕ ܒܝܫ ܘܢܚܝܢܝ ܒܡܠܟܘܬܗ ܕܒܫܡܝܐ ܕܠܗ ܫܘܒܚܐ ܠܥܠܡ ܥܠܡܝܢ ܐܡܝܢ
'myn elmyn lelm shwbkh' dlh dbshmy' bmlkwthh wnkhyny bysh ebd kl mn mry wnptsyny
And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom; to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

ܢܬܒܛܠ ܠܟ ܕܩܕܡ ܣܬܘܐ ܬܐܬܐ ܫܐܠ ܒܫܠܡܟ ܐܘܒܘܠܘܣ ܘܦܘܕܣ ܘܠܝܢܘܣ ܘܩܠܘܕܝܐ ܘܐܚܐ ܟܠܗܘܢ
